Selling Tickets - The important bit!
The more tickets you sell, the more money you raise. You set the ticket prices (which may depend on refreshments). Our most recent concerts have sold £10 tickets (with either £5 or £8 concessions) - but it's up to you!
If you can find a group of you to do the selling you will find it easier. It's easier to sell 10 tickets than 100, but if 10 of you sell 10 tickets each that's still 100 tickets, but it's much easier! Maybe you could hold a competition to see who can sell the most tickets.
There may a local shop who is willing to act as a 'Box Office'.
Posters can get the information out to lots of people. We will happily design you a poster for the concert if you would like us to - and then you can cover your local area in them! Perhaps you could get an article in the local paper.
Don't forget to think about how many tickets you think you can sell when you find your venue. If you can sell 250 tickets, don't pick a venue that only holds 100!
